*Update from the ASID National Board regarding membership cards
“In support of the ASID platform issue of sustainability, the National Board has decided to no longer print and mail membership cards to our Allied and Professional members, as is currently the case with our Industry Partner and Student members. As of September 1st, all members will be directed to print their membership cards online, by logging in to My ASID on www.asid.org and choosing the menu option: “Print Your ASID Membership Card”. Please note that we (the ASID National Board) are just finalizing the rebranding of the card template which will be complete by September 1st.”
“We (the ASID National Board) have begun to take some preliminary actions here at ASID headquarters so the change is not abrupt, come September 1st. ”
“To support the ASID platform issue of sustainability, members can login towww.asid.org and print a membership card 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Beginning September 1, 2011, ASID will no longer print and mail membership cards for Allied or Professional members. This process has already been in effect with great success for over three years with Student and Industry Partner members. To print your card login to www.asid.org and select “Go to My ASID”. Once in the My ASID section please select “Print Your ASID Membership card”.
“If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the ASID National Customer Service Team at membership@asid.org or 202-675-4456.”
