My name is Kathy Morris. I am an Interior Designer and have been working in Sandpoint Idaho as an Independent Interior Designer and business owner for the past 20 years. Before moving to Sandpoint and starting my own Interior Design business I worked in both Boise Idaho working for a design firm and Southern California working independently. The first firm I owned and sold was Sandpoint Interiors I worked on approx. 3 homes per year as full design (floor plan stage to completion) and specialized in window coverings. I have since sold that business and it still flourishes in Sandpoint Idaho. The second business I have owned is Design Ideas. With Design Ideas I specialized only in Interior Design working on new construction and re-models working in a team environment with Builders, Architects and sub contractors. With this business I formed an Interior Design showroom consisting of 3500 s/f and carried all the products needed to build you dream home. In June of 2006 I made the decision to close the showroom and now work out of an office only working on hourly basis giving Interior Design services. With this oportunity I have been able to work in many other state and do design such as California, Kansas, Florida, Arizona, Utah, Montana, Washington and Texas.

Services Offered

The Services I provide are as much or little as any client would need. I can do from the floor plan until completion with every picture hung to “design emergencies” call me as you need the help and I will guide you through the process. I do furniture placement to electrical design; Colors on interior an exterior to picking product from plumbing, door hardware, tile, carpet, to lighting furniture. Adding complete design work orders for your sub contractors and Building contractor all organized into a Design notebook. Your options are endless.

I like to do design based on the people I a working for. My success of design is someone walking into a home and saying “You did an awesome job on your home” Not “Who was your designer. Stepping into my clients shoes is what I enjoy. I love people and making a home about the people I work with.
